Detox Preparation Plan & Free Detox Diet – by Personal Trainer Swansea

{lang: 'en-GB'}

I have been personal training clients from Swansea for over 15 years and have never seen such good results as I have on my latest detox diet plan.

In last week’s blog post I brought you some of the reasons behind a period of detoxification, so today I will give you advice on how to prepare your body for detoxification.

The benefits of a period of detox are great; the main aim is to cleanse the blood and the gut from harmful toxins. It is very common though for your body to struggle to adapt to a detox at the start, many people take time off work to start a Detox diet. When detoxing, you may suffer from symptoms as your body expels the toxins from your body. This is perfectly normal and is not a sign that you’re getting sicker.  However if you have any health problems, are pregnant or breastfeeding you should NOT do a detox unless you have the supports of your health professional.

Detox can create a number of symptoms in your body as your body goes through the process of purifying itself and eliminating toxins. Some common detox symptoms include:

  • Headaches
  • Lethargy
  • Temporary muscle aches
  • Mucus or other discharge
  • A coated, pasty tongue
  • Flu-like symptoms
  • Irritability
  • Difficulty sleeping
  • Weakness & Fatigue
  • Cravings

You may even find that the detoxing process causes you to suffer the old symptoms that you have had that the body has suppressed. You may think that you are becoming ill but it is important that you continue with the detox and don’t take any medications to help with the symptoms. The aim to flush chemicals from the body, not introduce more!

I would recommend a small mini Detox to let your body adapt, so I shall give you my very own exclusive 3 day Detox for free! Before you commence the 3 day detox you should try eating more fruit and vegetables and 1 litre of water for every 50lbs or 3.5 stones of body weight for a week before and cutting down on the intake of toxins.

So here is the Three Day Detox for you to have a go at, remember not to worry if you do experience some of the negative symptoms associated with detox to keep going and follow this program as strictly as possible to bring you closer to a healthier lifestyle.  If you have any concerns or health problems then this is not for you unless performed under supervision from your GP or other health professional
